Labels:text | screenshot | font OCR: Dalle's vivid screen presence and explosive personality (on and off the set) have somewhat limited the development of her subsequent film career. Most of the scripts she was offered after Betty Blue required her simply to "parade naked in front of the camera." With Jim Jarmusch's 1991 Night on Earth, however, she found a role that was unusual and challenging. As preparation to play the blind woman in the Paris segment of the film, Dalle attended classes at the Institute for the Blind at Les Invalides. Of the role, she remarked, "Jim brought out something else in me. He didn't want me to be feeble or fragile. If I had a handicap, I wouldn't want people hovering over me."
